The Honest Rate Promise.
Payzium's written commitment to merchants in the United States that the price on the page is the price on the statement. The instrument covers Payzium-controlled fees; it does not modify the merchant processing agreement.
Four commitments.
Interchange and card-network fees pass through at cost.
Payzium does not add a margin, spread, or padding to interchange or card-network assessments. Those amounts appear on the merchant's processor statement at cost.
Payzium's margin is fixed on the pricing schedule.
The Payzium-controlled fees a merchant is billed for a statement period are the fees set out on the pricing schedule. Payzium does not add a Payzium-controlled fee that is not named on the pricing schedule.
No reclassification padding.
Payzium does not recharacterize transactions or fees to inflate amounts charged to the merchant beyond what the pricing schedule authorizes.
No hidden fee categories.
Every Payzium-controlled fee appears as a named line item at a disclosed rate.
If Payzium charges a junk fee, Payzium corrects and refunds it.
If a Payzium-controlled fee was charged that was either undisclosed, the product of reclassification padding, or otherwise inconsistent with the pricing schedule, Payzium will (1) stop the incorrect fee from recurring, and (2) refund the overcharge for every statement period in which it was charged. The refund is issued by check, direct deposit, or credit against a future Payzium fee.
Submit a claim.
How to submit a claim: email support@payzium.com with the subject line "Honest Rate Promise claim", the merchant's identifying information, copies of the relevant processor statements, the pricing schedule, and a short written explanation. Payzium acknowledges receipt within five business days and issues a written decision within fourteen days after receiving a complete claim package.

The published rate card is the source of every Payzium-controlled fee referenced above.
